Recently I was having a discussion with a friend of how it can be difficult to realize one's dreams given limitations. How does someone make a remarkable difference in the world, where they truly reach out to other people? They told me, "..You've got to make every moment count..." But what does that mean?
I think that means, no matter how little time you have, how few resources you may think you have access to, how inconsequential you may think your effort is...you have to try. You have to try with what you've got. Because, it just may be that the angle you are viewing the picture from keeps you from seeing something really important.
To me, that means I can help people I think I can't...or the people I choose not to, because it's just so hard to reach them. It also means I've got to remember God more, making him a part of each passing moment. Each moment is passing by so quickly and I've got to make it a lot more than one long 'time kill'.
A beautiful prayer I found today.
"...O, Allah, what blessing I or any of your creation have risen upon, is from You alone, without partner, so for You is all praise and unto you all thanks."

First Post.
I've been looking for an easy way to share pictures and thoughts...this blog site seems pretty easy to manage. I'm kind of a home-body but I like taking pictures and hearing people's thoughts on them. Feel free to comment.
These are pictures of my dad's grape vine in our tiny backyard. I don't think I've contributed much towards it's beauty...but was just appreciating it the other day..
